Mother's Day Banquet

The ABWM is sponsoring a Mother's Day Banquet on Saturday, May 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Menu: (catered by Farmers) includes Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Mostachiolli, Green Beans, Salad, Rolls and Dessert.

There will be a Nursery attendant. Entertainment will be provided by Rich Kindle from the 1st Baptist Church of Maryville.

Tickets are: Adult - $7.00; Youth (6-12) $4.00; Child (5 and under) - no charge. Tickets can be purchased from Linda Driesner (654-9467).

Fellowship Breakfast

Come and join us on the 4th Saturday of each month at 8:00 am for breakfast, sponsored by the American Baptist Men. We'll meet in the Fellowship Hall. It's not just for men, everyone is invited.

Vacation Bible School

This year's VBS "Soldiers of God" will be the week of June 14-18, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Classes are for: 2-3 yr olds; 4 yrs - kindergarten; Grades 1-2; 3-4 and 5-6.

We'll have classes, activities, music, crafts & snacks. Ricky, the puppet, will introduce each lesson at the opening and review it during the closing session. We'll have a closing presentation on Friday, the 18th, for the parents and families to come and see what their children have learned during the week; followed by refreshments for all in the Fellowship Hall.

Pre-registration will start the week of May 24. Hours for registration will be set soon.
